How much does a police detective from New York 3rd grade, in the 08? (including overtime basis, etc) * site says 100k?

The site of New York police said that detectives from grade 3 to about 100 k * per year … For some reason, this is a little hard to believe. We all know that the starting salary sucks, but after a few years based on merit and a lateral move to DT 3rd grade, what are the numbers say?
